I'm very bothered by this larva. It is so characteristic that it should be an easy one, but I just cannot identify it. I've found few of them in arthropods extraction of forest litter in southern Quebec (Canada).

looks to me a bit like Sciomyzidae, but these (dorsal) protuberances aren't anything I have ever seen before, but I'm only familiar with the Palaearctic fauna. I will have a look in some literature for more info.
edit: while looking in Smith, 1989 I have found this drawing of Discomyza incurva (Ephydridae), which resembles your larve quit well. It is the same drawing (32.75) as given in Ferrar (1987). If you like I can send you an excerpt on Ephydridae from Ferrar (1989).
