Hi,
I found this larva in a small stream in West Finland.
I took the photo on 16. 12. 2014 Kokkola, Finland.
Size 36mm.

Not a beetle, but another Trichoptera - family Phryganeidae, probably
Agrypnia

I agree with Tony, Phryganeidae for sure, genus Agrypnia (not pagetana) or Phryganea. Studying the combs on the middle- and hindcoxa and/or the presence or absence of a small sclerite between the front legs is necessary.
