Wow! That was quick; thanks.
Edit: A recent reference with a photo indicates this is Geomyza tripunctata; a recently introduced (to NA) species now common in eastern gardens.

Hi Tony,

Due a long period of absence (April-June) I seem to have missed this thread. It is indeed a female of Geomyza tripunctata. Great photo!!
