Hi, everybody

I found this tiny character on Poligonum aviculare, in Playa de La Espasa, a beach in central Asturias, N Spain, on September the 9th.

Any chance to say something about its identity?

Than you very much for any help!

Regards

Marian

Looks like Hecamede albicans based on location in Europe. Mathis (1993) warned that H. brasiliensis was apparently being spread to exotic locations, at the time all south of the Holarctic region. Occasional specimens should be checked to make sure it hasn't come further north.

Thanks a lot, John!! :)

Looks like Hecamede cf. albicans is the most reasonable way to name it, acording your observations, isn't it?
