Thread subject: Diptera.info :: [Polypedilum (Pentapedilum) sordens]Chironomidae to ID

I captured this specimen last week in my garden (in the East of France). I am not sure it is a Tanypodinae (it seems to have only 1 tranversal vein), although it shows a lot a hairs on the wings. It is possible to confirm the subfamily and, why not, to have an idea of the genus ?

Length : 3 mm

Other densely haired Pentapedilum lack the narrow pale bands on the abdomen.
