Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tipuliidae from Romania

Hi all, I founf today this big Tipuliidae in N-E of Romania, it is possible to ID it on only using these pictures? I've alco collected the specimen if anyone needs aditional pictures....

Hi,

It is a Tipula (Acutipula) fulvipennis female. One of the largest tipulid in Romania. It is a common, but nice species.

Thank you very much for your help, I collected 2 specimens (this one and another similar I think), do you need them? I see you are from Romania (it's nice to see that there is another person interested in diptera from my country in this forum :) ). Please let me a private message if you need the specimens, I also whould like to know more about what do you study :)
