I found this one in the Gorges de Tavignano in Corsica on 4/9/2014
The only species with black legs and black tergites I can find are northern species (Xylota suecica, Chalcosyrpus nigripes)
Maybe melanistic?
Who can help?

My first impression was
Chalcosyrphus piger (associated with Pinus spp.). I suposse it is melanistic form, but I can't be sure without specimen and I have never seen such form in
Ch. piger. If it is not C.piger then we don't have any other similar species in Europe.

Lukasz
