Looking through galleries of all kinds, I believe this is Asilidae-Neoitamus. Is is? Which species, please? Thanks:)

Georgsdorf, Germany, moor area, 2007-05-13, windy 18 degr. C., 13-16 mm.

Neoitamus should be correct, but I couldn't find a species with such dark tarsi in my keys:(

I think thats neoitamus cyanurus! The colour of legs are typical for this species. The legs of N. socius are darker and not so yellow.

Bothe species, socius and cyanurus show a high variety in most characters. SPEIGHT found only one possibilty for separation: the microtrichia on wings. If you haven't the specimen in your collection for checking, please use Neoitamus spec.. Yours

Thanks for the well appreciated input. Since I don't collect specimens I guess I'll have to do with Neoitamus sp.:(
