I hope you guys can help with ID'ing these two flies. They both seem to be Muscidae, but i'm not sure which ones. Both were found in Denmark.

Fly 1 bears a resemblance to Coenosia tigrina and fly 2 to Stomoxys calcitrans but not enough for me to be convinced.

Hi Yoda, I'd say that
Fly 1 Anthomyiidae
Fly 2 Coenosia

Thanks Nikita. I'm curious why you say Anthomyiidae for Fly 1? I thought vein 4 in the wing was too curved for an Anthomyiidae, but right for a Muscidae? I'm still new to fly ID though :-).

Why Anthomyiidae? Rather by "jizz". Compare, for example, with

Upon closer inspection of the photos (thanks for the link) I think you are right. Fly 1 does not exhibit the curvature i thought at first. Thanks again Nikita.
