Yes, although it is not universally accepted yet,
Dahliana geniculata is the name that I think will be used for this species. Phylogenetic analysis has demonstrated that
Aedes s.l. can be divided into recognisable monophyletic genera. Hopefully this will stabilise the nomenclature, and ensure that we're all using the same names for mosquitoes in the future.
