Hello everybody!
Today I found this little fly in my samplings. I was wondering if it could be a cryptochetidae ? If it is, could anyone help with further identification please?
It was captured in mango orchard, in Reunion Island!
Thanks in advance!

Yes, this is Cryptochetidae, a Cryptochetum sp..
Nowadays they are used as biological control of scale insects (like Icerya sp.), so they are transported to all kind of different places in the world.
