It was a large sized, approx. 2 cm wasp resting on hemlock. I hope this photo shows sufficient details to identify it at least the genus level.

There are two white strips on the antennae but I do not know it is distinctive or not.

I would be satisfied only with the genus level. Probably the pictures do not show sufficient details for the exact identifying.
