Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Stenomicra dancing ? => Stenomicra soniae

Hello,

This little fly was “dancing” in a very strange way: it walked in a uniform speed in any direction but while keeping its body on a vertical axis, the head on top !
After much research I guess it could be a Stenomicra, maybe S. soniae due to the crossveins zones looking white as for the specimen of Kahis (the legs coloring looks to match too).
Could you help me confirm that or tell me what else it could be ? Thank you very much for your help!

June 6th, 2014, Vevey, Switzerland, on a wood fence near a river in a humid wood.
Size: 2.3 mm
