Is this platystomatid fly? Size is roughly 4 mm in length.
Photograph taken in Selangor, Malaysia.

Right family. It's a 
Physiphora sp.

Physiphora belongs to Ulidiidae, not to Platystomatidae.

Ah ok, my lapsus. He said Platystomatidae, and naturally isn't right. Sorry for my lapsus keicanthony!
