Motril, Granada, Spain.
Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast.

Here in Germany I would say: Eupeodes corollae :). However, the size seems giant! The flies are said to be not longer than 11 mm at maximum...

I appreciate your help to identify.
Their estimates for the size, I think it can be fully valid for the copy I have photographed. The appreciation of length is a mere estimate, and worse in my memory ... :|
I edit the title with its proposal and delete my estimate of apparent size.
A camera with which I took the photo, it lacks the power to take voice notes. The estimate by the mere memory, possibly confuse more than help.
