a 4 mm fly from forestborder (northwest Germany).

Hi Juergen

At first glance it certainly looks like a Lonchaeid - but the long setae on the tibiae are not a character of this family.

Lonchaeidae would have black halteres.

Possibly Fannia.

From what I can see of the Sc shape, I agree with Fannia sp.
