Hello, today this small fly with a striking 2nd leg was on our garden pond in Hannover, Germany. In the gallery there are some Dolichopus species with similar legs.
Can someone help with ID?

Thanks, Hans

Probably a Campsicnemus with that modified mid tibia; the genus name means "curved tibia." Compare C. scambus.

Leg modifications in Dolichopus are nearly always ornamented fore tarsi or hairs under the hind femur. D. plumipes and remipes are the two major exceptions; they have ornamented mid and hind tarsi.

Thank you so much, John!
Yes, it must be C. scambus.
