23 April 2007, New Brunswick, Canada. Length: 5mm.
Abdomen is somewhat flat and seems disproportionally small comapred to thorax.
Fly is actually almost black, lightened in photos to show details.

Tony, it is male of Anthomyiidae.
Something near Delia or another goddamned genus in this goddamned family.

Thanks Nikita & Kahis. Just filling in time until some warm weather arrives and the decent flies appear. A few warm days last week but the next 2 weeks look grim. I just have to photograph something - you guys know what long winters are like!;)

Regarding at shape of antennae at second photo I suspect that I was wrong and Kahis right with Egle/Paregle
