Hi,

Here is a Dasysyrphus from Bulgaria, found this summer (20/07/2013) at the Pirin mountains (about 1800m hight)

My hesitation is between D lenensis and fruiliensis, but i have no picture with the tergite's lateral margin visible.

Would you have any idea?

Hello clovis,

For identification the lateral margin of the abdomen should be visible. In D. friulensis its yellow and black, in D. lenensis it's entirely black.
