2 January 2014, coastal forest in northeast Colombia.

Head looks like Tipulidae; the abdomen seems very unusual, large and flattened.

It's a crane fly, probably Limoniinae.

Hexatoma (Eriocera) sp.; few visible details, though; among species with general coloration intense black including wings and cell M1 lacking recorded from Colombia, this one is most probably represents H. (E.) columbiana (Alexander, 1919).
