This little tachinid female seems to me as Gymnosoma sp., but the size is really shorter than usual (4-5 mm, as Cistogaster sp.)!
More I try to find, grater it's difficult :(

Found on parsley flowers, near Paris (France) in July 2006.

Gymnosoma nitens perhaps? :) That's the really small species here and the specimen I have has a slightly stripey abdomen.

Thanks Chris.
Gymnosoma nitens is a new sp. for me! ;)

It would be new to me too - if I could find one! ;) Here they are rare and quite restricted to the east, around London.

Looks like Gymnosoma nitens.
Which is, in my mind, so different from the other ones that I personally prefer the name Stylogymnomyia nitens.
