Photograph taken on 08 December, 2013, in the wetlands of the Suárez Pond, Motril, Granada, Spain.
Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast.

From shiny black appearance. Apparent size with wings, about 4-5 mm

Any help with ID will be most appreciated

Looks like Athyroglossa glabra, but I've no idea if there are look-alikes.

mossnisse, Jan Willem. Very grateful for your help and collaboration. :)
Edit the title, to try to get confirmation to the proposed identification.

Kind regards

The fly has quite different association. It has strong dorsocentral setae, which exclude Gymnomyzinae (Athyroglossa) and Discomyzinae (Psilopa). It is a member of Hydrellinae and it is Typopsilopa. Only one Typopsilopa is known from Europe and it is T. kerteszi from Hungary.

I am very grateful for your extensive and complete information.

Would it be justified their identification as Typopsilopa cf. kerteszi. ?

Kind regards from southern Spain.
