Does any know of other hosts than
Apis mellifera Linnaeus for the Beelouse,
Braula coeca Nitzsch?

The Manual of Nearctic Diptera only mentions 'honeybees', without citing the scientific name of the honeybee.

I don't know of any references, but I think it is probable that at least one of the eight
Braula or
Megabraula species occurs on
Apis cerana which is also a domesticated species of honeybee. There are other undomesticated
Apis species, and
Braula must have evolved in undomesticated bees, so I think they will be found in those too.
