most www-published Psychodidae from DE are tagged "Clogmia albipunctata", although it is said there should be found some 100 species.
any suggestions (and hints for identifications sources) ?
thanks

The reason why most photographs are of
Clogmia albipunctata is that this species both occurs commonly in man-made habitats and that it is very easy to identify. There are most likely 150-200 species occuring in Germany, but most are poor fliers and are only found near their larval habitats in springs, streams and water-filled tree-holes.
This specimen is something else, but exactly what is hard to say without having the actual specimen. With current taxonomic knowledge most Psychodids can only be identified by examining the male genitalia.
