I think this is
Nowickia strobelii, a lesser known mountain species.
Differs from other
Nowickia sp. by the pale lateral T1/2, black cheek hairs and the syncercus which is not domed and is broad when viewed ventrally. I found just one specimen among many
N. reducta. It is quite worn in comparison, so flight season may be earlier. Also orange colour is paler - may be worth using this as a character in the field to select from
N. reducta?
