Hi guys,

I'm afraid that this is the only shot I have, so apologies if it isn't very helpful for id purposes! Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone could identify this fly, which I think is either a dark Chrysops caecutiens or C. sepulcralis.
The habitat was damp heathland in Dorset, UK and the photo was taken on 20/07/2009.

Thanks very much for any help you can provide,

Guy

Edit: Thanks Ruud, hopefully the problem is now sorted!

Sorry, but I think something went wrong with uploading. Take care that the size of the file is no too big and the name is correct, so contains no spaces
