Fly with metallic shine which at present can be observed regularly on the crumbling brick wall of our garden pond (formerly a swimming pool) and on leaves near the pond. It flies or runs quickly from place to place not staying anywhwere for long. Location: Rhineland (near Cologne). To me it looks like Xylota segnis (Syrphidae). Is that correct? I'd appreciate your help.
