on 2013-06-16 I found these two flies in the near ground vegetation. The male shows an interesting looking mating behaviour: he uses his forelegs to stimulate the female in an optical way. Is it a

Are the last tarsomeres of the male fore leg black and white? That is a common modification in American
Dolichopus. When males have ornamented legs, they are presented to the female as identification.
