Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Sciomyzidae? -> No, Clusiidae

Hello

I found these little flys in copula on 28. May 2013 in woods (Stuttgart, Germany), sat at a tree-trunk. Size about 5mm. Sciomyzidae?

I think you will find if you look in the Clusiidae family. A male with such remarkable antennae is easy to find.

oops... I have never seen bevor a fly of the family Clusiidae. Interessting flies.

So I think, it is Hendelia beckeri :)

Clusiidae - Hendellia is correct. And most likely that species. That's the avatar of our member Dmitry Gavryushin - http://www.dipter...lookup=201
