I found this Dolichopus yesterday (29-5-2013) in the Netherlands. For some reason i'm unable to find which species it is. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your answer Igor, but I don't think it is right. I think the poor quality of the images may have misled you.

The lower postocular cilia of this Dolichopus are pale and for D. rupestris they should black as far as I know.

I tried to make some pictures in the daylight, but I fear my equipment is just not good enough.

So I will additionally list some of the key characteristics (hoping it will give a clue)

1. All femora and tibia yellow (Black at apex of hind femora)
2. Lower postocular cilia pale
3. Tarsi simple, hind metatars with > 2 dorsal setae
4. No long hairs on hind femur
5. Front tibia without long apico-ventral bristle
6. Antenna black (entirely)
7. Face silvery white and hairy (bit)

This brings me to D. albifrons in your key, which is as far as I know not known from The Netherlands

It is Dolichopus excisus which is unknown in Scandinavia.
