Another mystery fly, somewhat similar to Dolichopodidae.
I have now more than 1.000 Diptera Images on my website.

While watching at the recently added photo of a Psila sp. I wonder whether this species does belong to that family?

Possibly. It certainly is a calyptrate fly, and not acalyptrate (wher Psilidae belong).

Looks a bit Dexiine (tachinid) to me - but hard to see the necessary bits

It could be, but then again, it could be not.
As long as I can't see the wing venation and/or the calytra, I do not dare to give a statement.
