Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Ephydridae?

This 2 mm fly was close to river bank. Is it Ephydridae or something else?
Photos from 13 april 2013 Styresholm 62 N, E 17 Ångermanland, Sweden.

If what I can see here is correct - 3 dc long and all ac setae short, ocellar triangle matt - then it may be Ephydridae - Lamproscatella. Sure definition is possible on male terminalia, however this one resembles Lamproscatella bimaculata. :)

It seems that we have this 3 in Sweden. Does this help to identify species?
Lamproscatella brunnipennis
Lamproscatella pilosigenes
Lamproscatella sibilans

L.pilosigenis=L.sibilans (according to World Catalogue of Ephydridae). So you have 2 species among which to choose. L. brunnipennis sometimes has grey face (not golden) and brownish wings, L. sibilans has golden face. So it may be brunnipennis.B) But perfect definition is better with the structure of male terminalia:)
