Hello,

found this orange diptera, about 6-7 mm, looking at the wing, antennae, palpi and legs, orange with the first 3/4 of the femour 1 grey, thorax grey without stripes, abdomen reddish-yellow (orange) with brown/black hairs, frons longer than wide, hind tibia with two well differentiated pd setae.

I'm sorry but I don't have any other keys to id the specie. I was looking for Lispocephala brachialis but I see the lenght is 4,5-5,5, very thin pale dusting on the abdomen and faint traces of a pair of spots, so seems it'snt the right one ...

Help :)

On some sites I see the dimension of 7 mm too (wing included) and on the A.Ramel site the subject is the same, identical: Lispocephala brachialis

Someone can comfirm it?

Thanks,
Marcello
