I've found an egg of Tachinidae on this
Elasmucha grisea (Acanthosomatidae), but not on the dorsal part of the pronotum like on this post
http://www.dipter...d_id=42390
Subclytia rotundiventris has never been found in that region, but there are a lot of
Ectophasia crassipennis.
On the site of the North Dakota State University they give
Elasmucha grisea as host of
Ectophasia crassipennis.

Do you think it could be an egg of
Ectophasia crassipennis ?

Thanks,
If I see again such an egg on a bug, I'd like to try to rear it, but I don't know how to do to keep the bug in good conditions. Could you give me some advices ?
