Hi,

Please can anyone give me an Id for the attached Fly ? the photo was taken in my garden in Farnham, Surrey UK in July 2008

Any help greatly appreciated.

Certainly a Chrysopilus, possibly a Chrysopilus asiliformis, but I cannot check it right now
