This female Heleomyzid with long front tarsae was caught in the Netherlands 29 october on a bleeding chestnut tree.
Which genus is it?
Greetings

Thanks Andrzej!
I tried to identify it using the old Czerny key in Lindner, but somehow I couldn't get to it. Do you think this key is still useful?

Hello Gerard. The Key is still useful. The synonymy of common species should be verified using Catalogue of Palaearctic Diptera ;). Andrzej
