Hi,
In my male specimens of both Protoclythia-species, dm-cu is obviously further from the wing margin than in this specimen. The ratio of the hind tarsomeres cannot be assessed well based on the picture, unfortunately. What do you think about this? Actually I would say this is a Platypeza sp...

Or possibly a male Polypoivora

Yes, this distance of that posterior crossvein could vary sometimes, also the tarsi are not visible. But you can be right, now I am little bit unsure - I need to see my specimens first, but it takes me about hour to decide precisely - I do not have hour today, I am sorry :)
But look, the hairs on the abdomen are rather bright (like P. modesta, P. picta has dark black hairs), also halteres are not dark (I checked male of P. picta, it has very dark halteres), and the abdomen is usually shorter in Polyporivora, so we can exclude Polyporivora. But the Platypeza is still in the game. The shape of the wing is more Platypeza-like. It is very difficult for me to say from these photograps. I am sorry.
