hello, I was wondering if you could help me identify this species (or at least family) from the attached wing photo. sorry for the bad specimen but it was caught in a trap and the adult was destroyed. it was collected from Cyprus in a
Bactrocera trap.

Euleia heraclei (Tephritidae), I think. But I donĀ“t know if there are other similar species in Cyprus.

thank you! according to Fauna Europaea it is present in cyprus http://www.faunaeur.org/distribution_table.php
