Thread subject: Diptera.info :: acalypterate flies from deteriorating glands

I am not fully sure wherther the stadia are the same species. Reared from deteriorating glands. Some aid please!

The fly is Chloropidae, Oscinella sp.; And cocoon looks like related to this family. But about the rest I am afraid to say.

Thank you Sara21392! Anyway, stange to have these flies from acorns, as Oscinella flies seem to be tightly connected with grasses.

The first picture (white wgg) is probably the egg of Chymomyza, maybe Chymomyza amoena. On the other hand, the egg presented as that of C. amoena (another thread) belongs probably to Sophophora.
