Good night

I’ve uploaded two photographs in iSpot and someone indicated me that in this forum some of you could help me to identify this Robberfly.
They suggested me that it is from the family Asilidae.

Location: Camino de Las Ladroneras, Madrid - Spain
Lat/Lng: 40.6419, -3.6732
Observed on: 14th July 2012
Added to iSpot: 21st August 2012
Likely ID: Robber Fly (Asilidae)
Lat/Lng: 40.6419, -3.6732
Description: Mediterranean forests, woodlands, and scrub
They are called in my country: "Moscas Asesinas"

I would appreciate very much your help
Thanks

I can only tell you the prey is a bombyliid.
