Hi all,

Can anyone help identify this fly? I'd like to post this picture (which is stacked from 48 images) on my blog once I have a better idea of what it was.

The fly was collected in Vancouver, BC, Canada in mid July 2012. It had been attracted to a salmon carcass along with flesh flies and greenbottles. This fly was about 1/2 the size of the flesh flies. Unfortunately I did't think to photograph the entire speciman and didn't keep it.

Any ideas?
