Hello,
this Tephritidae is from last week from the dunes in Zandvoort (NL). Is Rhagoletis batava correct?
Thanks,
Michael

Thank you for the confirmation. I will try do make a better picture today, but I don't have much hope because my camera seems to have problems with a white background.

In recent years, a new alien species, Rhagoletis batava, a potentially important pest of the cultivated sea buckthorn, has been observed in Finland.
