Hi dipteran gurus.
This psychodid larva was found in a New Zealand (North Island) stream - it's very distinctive, particularly the tail structures. I'd be most grateful for any suggestions about the taxon.

I'm afraid it's been in ethanol since the day it was collected, but since the tail structure is so distinctive (new image attached) I'd hoped that someone may recognise it.

New Zealand's Psychodids are poorly known. The larval stage is (as far as I remember) only known for four species. This does not look like any of those.
So, collect more specimens and try rearing them!
