Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Stratiomys

Hello everyone,

I found this beautiful fly last saturday in Germany, Echternacherbrück (Rhineland-Palatinate) where it sat on an umbel.

I just wanted to be sure whether Frank Marquard`s determination as Stratiomys potamida, female is correct and would be very grateful for a confirmation (or correction if necessary).
