Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Milichiidae ?

Thought this was a scuttle fly (Phoridae) but did think those two forward spiky bits at the bottom of the head were a bit odd. Someone suggested it may be Milichiidae
Taken a couple of days ago. South coast UK.

Looks like
Phyllomyza flavitarsis. Did you collect the specimen for verification?
