Hi flyforum

Taken yesterday in V?lega - Ovar - PORTUGAL (near Atlantic Ocean and about 35 km south of Oporto).
I found this one near orange fruit tree.
4:1 magnification photo. the wasp has minus 2 mm. the precise lenght is about 1.9 mm +/- 0.1 mm .

I thought in Pteromalidae wasp, but not sure. I hope that ID to genus level can be possible. Ah! I have the specimen! It is alive yet and in very good condition.

Hello Jorge,
For sure a pteromalid, but with such a big family with a lot of look-a-likes it is impossible to go beyond that!:(
For that one would need a specimen.
Greetings,

Hi Gerard.

I have the specimen. Where can I send it to get a safe ID :)?
Thank you.
