Picture taken on April 12th,2011 near Ravenna (Italy). Feeding on Euphorbia. I guess the genus is Chrysotoxum, is it possible to identify the species?
Thanks a lot!

Is the genus correct and which details would be needed for an identification of the species?
Thanks in advance

Ruud is right, something close to elegans indeed. But too difficult from a picture..
