Please could you ID this... if my pics are good enough.
The hoverfly has a cute little face which looks like
Cheilosia sp to me. Could it be
C. caerulescens?
I've managed to work out that it's a male!
Seen in my garden feeding on tansy in July 2011

Certainly looks good for it ... fairly recently added to UK list but already fairly widespread esp in south ... nice one Ginks
