Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Heleomyzidae brown scutellum> Eccoptomera sp.

Hi,

I only got one shot of this before it took off! 18th January on my door, near Lincoln UK. I thought it resembled Gymnomus caesius but the scutellum colour is wrong. Not sure of size as it went too quickly!

I don't think I have had one of these before, we have 5 species listed. I guess there's no good clue to which it is.
