Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Phoridae? ---> Sphaeroceridae and Ephydridae

Hello!
Coming to the Brachycera... Also from our garden in Ostwestfalen/Germany yesterday, three very tiny flies. The first one at a banana was only about 1.5 mm, the other two 2 mm. The third has remarkeably striped wings. I'm not sure about the family (not even if they all belong to the same family), could they be
Phoridae? Thanks for any hints!

I'd say Sphaeroceridae.

Except the bottom one that is Ephydridae.

The ephydrid is
Limnellia, probably
quadrata, though the wing pattern is difficult to make out.
